What is a chit fund and how does it work?+
A chit fund is a savings-and-borrowing scheme where a group of members contributes a fixed amount every month. Each month, one member receives the pooled amount (the chit value) through a transparent auction. Over the tenure, every member gets their turn.
Is Sri Vigneswara Chits registered and regulated?+
Yes. We operate as per the Chit Funds Act, maintain proper books of accounts, issue signed receipts for every payment, and follow strict KYC (Aadhaar-based) for every subscriber.
How do I pay my monthly EMI?+
You can pay via UPI, net banking, debit/credit card, or in cash at our office. Once we activate the customer portal, every payment will generate an instant digital receipt in your dashboard.
Can I join more than one chit batch?+
Yes. Many of our members hold multiple chits across batches. Your dashboard shows each active plan, next due date, and payment status separately.
What happens if I miss an EMI?+
You will receive reminders via SMS and WhatsApp. A short grace period is allowed. Please contact Praveen directly on +91 91543 36222 to resolve any delay — we always work with our members personally.
